Columbia Green offers two versions of its Advanced Vegetative Roof System (AVRS). The AVRS Tray System uses interlocking, overlapping modular trays that allow overfill so deeper growth medium can be added, up to 8" total depth. The trays also allow airflow to the tray bottoms to improve plant health and manage wind uplift. The company’s Multilayer system is engineered with a drainage layer and a water retention layer. Both of these products contain high amounts of recycled content; the trays and multilayered drainage layer are 88% and 40% post-consumer polypropylene, respectively, and the multilayered retention layer is 100% pre-consumer polypropylene. The growing media are chosen depending on project needs and plants can be regionally grown.

The Galvaply roofing system is designed for slopes as low as 1/4:12 on new construction or retrofits. Galvalume steel panels provide solar reflectance of .75 and emissivity of .80 over a steel framing system with metal flashing and stainless steel drain system and seam fasteners. The company claims the system contains 60% total recycled material and will last for over 40 years. (The company does not delineate how much is post-consumer recycled content, or how it is divided up by system components.) Galvaply is installed with no PAH-releasing tar products or offgassing glues.

Rooflite licenses companies across the U.S. to produce its five blends of planting media using regionally available materials. The five formulas are designed for specific green-roof applications: extensive on multi-layer construction; extensive on multi-course construction; semi-intensive; intensive; and intensive agricultural, formulated to support rooftop farming.

HydRocks soil media is manufactured in Georgia in three formulas: intensive, extensive, and structural. The structural blend may be used in conjunction with the others to support hardscapes, such as pavers, while allowing the roots from surrounding areas to continue to grow underneath the hardscape.

Stalite manufactures PermaTill in North Carolina using 80% post-industrial recycled fines from the company's production of slate aggregate,15% compost, and 5% pine bark fines. Available for extensive or intensive green roofs, PermaTill has a high cation-exchange capacity (CEC) of 26.9 milliequivalents per 100g, which the company says promotes nutrient retention, reducing the need for fertilizer inputs while allowing high permeability and aeration.

Bella Bluegrass, distributed by Todd Valley Farms, is a drought-resistant bluegrass that spreads via rhizomes rather than seeds. According to the company, this grass is not genetically modified, and it grows well laterally, “self-repairs,” and stops growing after reaching 3.5"–4", reducing the amount of mowing required by 50%–80%. It also requires 20%–30% less water than standard bluegrass. Bella Bluegrass is best used in colder climates and is available as sod, plugs, and Live Roof modules.

Sure-White is a white, single-ply EPDM membrane that meets Energy Star, Cool Roof Rating Council, and California Title 24 requirements for solar reflectance. Sure-White is available in 60- and 90-mil thicknesses, 10' to 30' widths (90 mil are only available in 10'), and 100' lengths. The wider sections and the use of Carlisle's pressure-sensitive SecureTape or FAT tapes help speed installation, according to the company. The length of the warranty on these products depends on installation, but a 30-year warranty is offered for 90-mil systems installed using Carlisle materials.

Firestone’s Rubberguard EcoWhite EPDM membrane meets Energy Star and Cool Roof Rating Council standards for solar reflectance. The 60-mil and 90-mil Platinum version are available in 5'–50' widths and lengths up 200'. EcoWhite EPDM membranes are installed using the company’s Quickseam tapes, flashing, and low-VOC adhesive. A pre-taped version is also available. These membranes have a 20- or 30-year warranty with 60- and 90-mil products, respectively.

Sportworks offers a range of secure, space-efficient, and convenient steel bike racks. As is common in steel building products, the steel contains pre-consumer recycled content. Included in Sportworks offerings are scratch-resistant models with an EPDM and polypropylene bumper. Sportworks offers a one-year warranty against manufacturing defects.

DeepRoot Green Infrastructure's impermeable geomembranes protect landscaping, hardscapes, and foundations against damage from underground water while also providing some protection against invasive species and roots. (For greater protection against roots, the company also makes dedicated root barrier products). DeepRoot’s geomembranes are made from a minimum 75% post-consumer recycled high-density polyethylene (HDPE) and are available in 300-foot rolls, in three thicknesses, and widths from 18" to 40".

Kingspan's interlocking roof panels consist of a polyisocyanurate core between steel skins available in different lengths and thicknesses. Intended for slopes as low as 1/4:12, Kingspan insulated weathertight panels work in cooling, heating, and mixed climates. Kingzip standing seam panels are faced with pre-painted Galvalume or Zincalume steel and mechanically seamed with the KingZip Power Seamer. These 42"-wide panels have R-values of 15 for the 2" panel and 48 for the 6". Kingspan 900 High Rib Roof Panels are faced with galvanized, pre-painted steel, installed with overlapping ribs, butyl tape, and sealant and through-fastened with screws. The 40" panels achieve from R-15 (2") to R-49 (6").

Kingspan has a UL-certified Environmental Product Declaration (EPD) for its panels, available for download on their Path to Net Zero website.

Gardner Gibson offers six roof coatings with low VOCs and initial reflectance above 0.80. Of the Black Jack line of elastomeric coatings, Black Jack 5532 has less than 5 g/L VOCs and reflectance of 0.94, and Black Jack 5527 and 5530 have less than 10 g/L VOCs and reflectance of 0.90 and 0.92, respectively. Sta-Kool elastomeric coatings SK-770 and SK-780 have less than 50 g/L VOCs and reflectance of 0.89 and 0.94, and Gardner SK-700 acrylic coating has less than 20 g/L VOCs and reflectance of 0.85.

HSS 535 solvent-free silicone fluid-applied roofing coating has 10.2 g/L VOCs and is available in bright white with reflectance of 0.90. The one-component, high-solids coating is also available in a "high-build" formula for one-coat applications up to 80mm thick.

Wheeling-Nisshin is a West Virginia manufacturer of Galvalume standing seam metal roofing. This variation on galvanized steel uses an aluminum-zinc coating for improved corrosion resistance. A clear acrylic coating is added to produce Galvalume Plus; both products meet Energy Star reflectance requirements. According to the Steel Recycling Institute, steel roofing contains an average of 31% recycled steel (23% post-consumer).

U.S. Steel manufactures Galvalume standing seam metal roofing, a variation on galvanized steel that uses an aluminum-zinc coating for improved corrosion resistance. A clear acrylic coating is added to produce Acrylume. Both products are available in a variety of paint finishes; many of them, along with unpainted Galvalume, meet Energy Star reflectance requirements. Galvalume from U.S. Steel has an average recycled content of 30%.
