What Makes a Building Product Green

Asbestos and lead are among the most common hazardous materials encountered in older buildings. Lead and asbestos remediation in buildings should generally be done by professionals, through either removal or encapsulation.

GreenSpec lists products that aid in managing lead and asbestos with minimal additional environmental and health risks.
